Jesus said that He came to give us life, an abundant life, a life to the full.  But many of us have squandered our opportunities and done things that leave us feeling empty or trapped in an addiction we can’t fight on our own.

As part of the Body of Christ we believe that we’re not alone and that one of the greatest benefits of the Church is mutual accountability and support.  Organizations such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Cocaine Anonymous, and others fit firmly within our philosophy of care.  We provide meeting space in our facilities for a weekly CA meeting and partner with a local half-way house for AA gatherings.

Sometimes the prisons we feel trapped within are not of our own making.  Sometimes circumstances leave our heads spinning and our life feeling as though it’s careening out of control.  They say that misery loves company, and though we don’t think corporate pity parties are of value, we do believe that it is Christ-like to weep with those who weep and bear one another’s burdens.

As persons with deep needs continue to come through our doors, we continue to expand the support systems necessary to help everyone see that a new story can be written in their lives, a story of hope and healing.
