The ancient church practiced the simple belief, “Hospes venit, Christus venit… When a guest comes, Christ comes.”  We continue to believe that opportunities to bless and serve those in need are opportunities to show the love of Christ in a tangible way, and so we try to be wise in how we handle the resources entrusted to our care.

All persons requesting assistance fill out a brief form and are interviewed by a member of the pastoral staff.  Forms are available at the church office.  An appointment is not necessary (but recommended as pastoral staff are not always available). 

We operate an emergency food pantry, providing basic essentials.  Food and personal items can often be distributed that same day.  For those needing help with bills and other financial obligations, money (paid directly to the company or service, never to the individual) takes at least 24 hours to process.
