In consultation with local organizations that track the needy in the greater Lansing community, we annually distribute numerous boxes of food throughout the region at Thanksgiving and Christmas.  Volunteers from the congregation donate items and give of themselves to prepare the baskets and deliver them on the Sunday before Thanksgiving and Christmas.

We also have a toy drive which serves many children each year.  We believe very strongly that we are blessed so that we might bless others, and members of the congregation take this to heart as they give freely to brighten the Advent season for girls and boys throughout the city.
